State Funding Services

  • Establish and update eligibility for New Construction and Modernization State Funding

  • Develop strategies that integrate State Funding with local priority bond projects to maximize project funding

  • Prepare facility master plans

  • Develop educational specification

  • Prepare documents for California Department of Education (CDE) Plan Approval and School Site Approval

  • Prepare and file funding applications to Office of Public School Construction (OPSC) for New Construction and Modernization Programs

  • Prepare board resolutions and transmittals for OPSC/CDE required for funding applications

  • Assist District in the Career Technical Education Funding Applications

  • Prepare periodic expenditure and progress reports for OPSC for funded projects

  • Assist District in close out audits for funded projects

  • Serve as a liaison to the OPSC and the CDE to facilitate processing of the State applications and supporting documents for approval by the SAB and subsequent apportionments from State school bond funds
